Friends of Jesus

Friends of Jesus is a program for children, ages 2 and up will be held on the first and third Wednesdays at 5:30 until 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

We will begin with singing and a Bible story—one of Jesus’ parables—will follow. The highlight of our time will be a meal served family style. There will be a “dinner dean” at these meals who will lead prayers and table games. Each table will have table parents to eat with your child each week. We are looking forward to the new friendships that will be made! Following dinner, there will be activities and recreation.

Each week there will be a different parable and a different theme. The kids are encouraged to dress to follow the theme. The meals will be simple, well-rounded, and kid friendly.

For Friends of Jesus to be a success, we need children! Please plan now to also bring along your children’s friends and to attend as many of the meals as possible. You may be actively involved if you so choose—we have plenty of room for kitchen help and table parents!
