LENTEN PLEDGE CARD
Many of us are already doing a lot to help our neighbors and our Earth. All of us can do just a bit more. These pledge cards are not something to turn into the church, not something anyone will keep track of. For those who choose to participate, it is a personal commitment to honor God's will by helping our Earth and its people.
Don't "give up" for Lent - Give Back!

Join Mountain True (WNC environmental non-profit)

Like Creation Care Alliance on Facebook and check out their CCA website

Donate clothes I don't wear to Interfaith Assistance Ministry or Black Mountain Home for Children

Join the Poor Peoples' Campaign or the local NAACP

Volunteer for a local agency serving those at the margins

Support the "Grow our own teachers" program for Henderson County schools

Support local student-run organizations
-
Practice ongoing self-reflection, learning, and openness to growth
