Habitat for Humanity has worked together with families, our local community, and volunteers from Henderson County for over 33 years so that more people can live in affordable and safe homes. According to Habitat, 50% of the workforce in Hendersonville cannot afford to live in Henderson County!

This Holiday Season, Trinity Presbyterian is hosting a Habitat for Humanity event to raise money for the infrastructure of two new phases in the Dodd Meadows neighborhood in East Flat Rock. These new phases will literally pave the way for Habitat to build 37 new affordable homes for local residents of Henderson County.

Participants will drive through the Trinity Presbyterian Church “pick-up window” at 900 Blythe St. and go home with a freshly prepared gourmet meal to enjoy with their family and/or friends. These delicious meals will feature:

Barnhouse Kitchen's pot pies, quiche, and strubens

Dandelion (Safelight) house salads

All of this will be packaged in a large reusable thermal bag with a surprise inside! A festive atmosphere is planned with caroling on the church’s campus and visits and pictures with Mountain Santa!

There's no place like home for the holidays, so let's help Habitat get some people into safe and affordable homes! Thank you :-)
