Free Men’s Health Tune-up - Sat, Jun 11

Saturday, June 11th 9 AM – 1 PM at Harmon Field Tryon, NC

Sponsored by the Saint Luke Hospital in Nearby Columbus, NC

To celebrate June being National Men’s Health Month, St. Luke Hospital is sponsoring a free men’s health screening event coupled with an interesting Car, Truck and Bike show. The event occurs on Saturday, June 11 from 9AM to 1PM at Harmon Field in Tryon.

The event will occur rain or shine under the outdoor covered gymnasium next to the large parking area. The car and bike show is co-located in the same area.

Health screening opportunities will be available for both men and women. Screening for men is emphasized because so many men are lax in participating in the practice of sound exercise, diet and overall health parameters.

Health screening services available include the following areas:

  • Cardiology

  • Management of Chronic Pain

  • Blood Pressure Screening

  • Prostate Cancer Screening

  • Stroke Symptom Education

  • Healthy Heart Diets

  • Mental Health Practices

  • COVID Follow up Care

and more...

There will also be an array of snacks and drinks on site. Plan to come and enjoy the free car and bike show as a good morning out opportunity.

This free community event is made possible by the Ann Jacob Toms Fund at Polk County Community Foundation.

Questions please call the Foundation office at 828.894.2693 or email Amanda.Thompson@slhnc.org. I hope you will attend our first ever Men's Health Tune-Up and please share with your family and friends!

See you there!
